 FERMEL (Pty ) Ltd is a privately owned company which was established in 1962 .

The company’s core business is in providing mining solutions that encompass the manufacture and supply of an extensive range of

underground , trackless mining machinery and integrating the supply thereof ,with the appropriate service delivery solution.

Conceptualized as a provider to the local industry , our roots and major market remain within the confines of  South Africa.

Utilizing our SA infrastructure as a springboard, we operate in a number of African nations and are represented in the  Namibia ,

DRC , Tanzania and South America , with wholly owned FERMEL entities in  Zambia , Zimbabwe and Botswana .

ENGINEERING

The FERMEL  engineering department offers the combined knowledge and experience in mining , mechanical engineering,

electrical engineering and electronic systems.

Driven by intellectual property key holders, we develop our products according to product platforms aimed at

matching the diverse product offering and using cutting edge design and validation software packages .

Our continuous endeavours in  research , development and design of technological systems is a driving

force in our product evolution .

a leading mechanized manufacturer of underground mining machines.

TRAINING

Fermel (Pty) Ltd is a registered training provider and is aligned with specific Unit Standards within the scope of

Merseta (Manufacturing, Engineering and Related Services Sector Education and Training Authority).

We are the preferred training provider with specialized registered training assessors and moderators.

SERVICE SUPPORT

Our service philosophy prescribes that product supply and support work in a unified system in order

to achieve the optimal service level standard .

Our  after market division hence caters for a varied number of service solutions , ranging from support on an ad-hoc

basis to comprehensive service & maintenance contracts , which included availability and cost of ownership guarantees.

The flexibility to adapt each solution is based on the Clients unique requirement, and is supported by ourour team of

field service technicians, technical specialists and field management services.
